Mandu ( Korean Dumpling)

Ingredients

14 pieces (180g ) of Korean instant dumplings (Mandu, 만두)
4 Lettuce leaves (40g)  – thinly sliced
1/2 leaves (35g) of small cabbage – thinly sliced
1/2 (65g) large cucumber – peeled, seed removed, julienned
1/2 (25g) small carrot – peeled, julienned
Some cooking oil
Spicy, Tangy and Sweet Dressing
1 tbsp gochujang
2 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp raw sugar
1 tbsp Korean sesame oil
1 tbsp roasted sesame seeds

Steps
1. Clean/wash all the vegetables and prepare them as directed in the above ingredients section. Then set aside.
2. Prepare the dressing by mixing the listed ingredients in a bowl.
3. Heat the pan, add some oil and spread it around the pan. Place the dumplings on the pan and cook them until well done, about 5 mins. Set aside.
4. Mix the vegetables, dumplings and the dressing in a large mixing bowl then serve.  (Mixing should be done just before you are ready to eat. Otherwise, your vegetables and dumplings won’t be as crunchy.)
